Knowledge Organization was established as Information Management consultancy in 2009 by PhD Jesper Kallehauge (born 1966) who has a background in Information Science.

He has earned a Diploma and MSc. in Information Science from Royal School of Library and Information Science, Copenhagen, 1992-99. He has a PhD from University of Sheffield, Information School, UK, 2008.

He has worked at IBM in Bratislava, Slovakia, (2010-12) as problem resolution manager for Nordic market and Infosys BPO in Brno, Czech Republic as Application Analyst (2012-15), for Nordic market.

He has developed the novel Key Performance Indicator (KPI), the Employee Knowledge Index (EKi), in 2007 to be implemented in Human Resource Management (HRM) software solutions by IT vendors on any platform or directly by corporations deploying the EKi in their organization.
